Exterior envelope work at 1850 Glenview continues to advance with strong momentum.
This is a dense urban infill site with limited access, stacked trades, and constant coordination demands. Multiple crews are often working in the same areas simultaneously, while winter conditions continue to challenge sequencing and logistics. Progress here is the result of planning, communication, and crews that understand how to operate inside constraint without creating downstream issues.
Construction Ahead USA is executing the exterior cladding systems, rainscreen, and trim scope with a focus on maintaining schedule control while protecting finished work as elevations come together. The systems are taking shape, details are locking in, and the building is starting to show its final character.
This is repeat work with Weis Builders, and that familiarity matters on projects of this visibility. When space is tight and coordination is critical, trust between the GC and trade partners shows up in the field.

Construction Ahead, USA has been awarded the contract for 1850 Glenview Road, a new 62-unit luxury mixed-use development set to anchor the heart of Downtown Glenview. With 7,655 SF of retail space on the street level and residential units above, this project plays a key role in the Village’s revitalization strategy.
