Construction Ahead, USA is proud to continue our partnership with Miron Construction on the Lac Vieux Desert Health Center Wellness Expansion in Watersmeet, MI.

This project will add 10,000 sq. ft. of new clinic and wellness space for the Lac Vieux Desert Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians, improving access to healthcare and community services in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.

Additions like this require more than just extra square footage; they demand respect for the original design to ensure the expansion integrates seamlessly with it. Our goal is to align materials, sightlines, and finishes while delivering the performance and precision these facilities need.

Working through preconstruction with Kyle Larson and the Miron Construction team has been exceptional. Early coordination helps reduce field issues and maintains the design intent through to installation.

For GCs, it’s about having a subcontractor who takes ownership of the scope from submittals to final installation. For the community, it’s about gaining a healthcare facility that will serve for decades.
