A small project done right.
We installed the exterior envelope on the new NVA Veterinary Services facility in Stoughton. The building replaces the long standing Stoughton Veterinary Service location and expands the clinic's ability to serve the community it has served for nearly forty years.
RWE Design Build led the project and raised the right question early. Would the Nichiha compression joints and the EIFS control joints land on the same line? That question sounds simple. In the field, it rarely is. A two or three inch offset between two systems on a shared wall plane reads as a construction error even when neither system has failed. The answer came out of a field walk between their team and ours during preconstruction. Both systems landed their joints at 10'. The envelope reads clean. That is the kind of coordination that builds clean envelopes on any scale.
Nichiha kept the material side tight through the pricing cycle. Every envelope package right now is moving through rounds of value engineering that did not exist three years ago. Holding design intent through that pressure takes a material partner willing to work the problem, not just quote the order. Nichiha did. Our in-house team handled the install.

For this project, the material choice was straightforward. Nichiha Vintagewood Cedar remains the most requested product in their line. High impact resistance, a clean contemporary look, and excellent performance over high-density insulation. It checked every box.
And the installation strategy elevates it further. Panels will be installed vertically and horizontally, woven together seamlessly. That type of layout requires tight preconstruction, accurate furring and insulation planning, and a crew that understands the tolerances. Our in-house installers make that possible.
