Bank Construction
PNC Bank - Miami, FL
Bank construction in South Miami, FL for a new PNC Bank branch, with exterior envelope installation by Construction Ahead USA built for durability, performance, and long-term weather protection.
Everyone knows that skilled labor is tight across every trade right now. When that is true, depth beats range. We stay in one lane on purpose: the exterior wall assembly, framing out, run at the scale a national account program depends on.
That is the standard we have carried across more than a hundred national accounts.
Marand Builders, Inc. brought our team on for the exterior scope on the new PNC Bank branch in South Miami, Florida.
We bid it the way we bid every national account job: a complete scope that the production team never has to guess at, real numbers that the estimating team can stand behind, and a coordination plan that the field can actually run on.
Financial services work is where Marand keeps landing, alongside healthcare and corporate workplace projects, on a client list built since 1999 across the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic, extending into Florida and Texas.
The architect of record is RS&H, a national architecture and engineering firm based in Jacksonville. RS&H specified four Nichiha USA panel profiles on this one branch: Vintagewood in Spruce, Corbosa in Moondust, Illumination in Cotton, and Modern Brick in Midnight. One product line, four looks, proof a design can carry real intention without complicating the build.
A Tremco fluid-applied air barrier goes on first, then DuPont insulation and metal furring build the substrate, and the Nichiha USA panel set completes the assembly in four finishes with Tamlyn trims and Adfast sealant.
No one walking into a bank to open a savings account is thinking twice about the building. That is the point. The exterior should feel solid enough to reassure and quiet enough that it never distracts from the business people came in to do. That only holds if the assembly behind it keeps performing under real, daily use, not just on opening day. The air barrier, the insulation, the wall panels, and the sealant have to work as one system, installed by one accountable team, not four scopes stitched together by four different subs. No one notices a wall that works.
