34351 Date Palm Drive in Cathedral City is now a Sun Community Federal Credit Union branch.
The credit union has served the Imperial and Coachella Valley since 1954, with eight branches, member-owned, no outside investors calling the shots. Its business lending spans commercial real estate, equipment financing, and agriculture: farmland loans and livestock lines of credit for the valley's growing operations.
Level5 awarded us the exterior panel scope on this branch, our second Sun Community project with this GC. They work primarily with financial institutions, covering everything from strategy and site selection through design and construction, not just picking up a project mid-stream.
Our in-house crews will execute the exterior scope when construction begins.
One team will carry it from preconstruction through turnover.
That continuity brings clients back.
Architect of record is Beck Architecture.
What we own is the continuous Owens Corning FOAMULAR 250 insulation, furring channels, then vertical Longboard V-Groove plank, Dark Fir on the walls and Old Navy on the soffits, built for desert heat that does not let up.
It is a hot one out there right now, and heat like that does not test the wall alone. It also tests the crew installing it. We expect care and safety in that heat, not carelessness because of a deadline.
That is what separates a crew that holds up from one that does not.
Second job, same GC, same standard on the panel. That is the only kind of review that counts, and it is the same one every bank and credit union on our list keeps giving us.
