Retail Construction
Cincinnati, oh – target
Retail construction in Cincinnati, OH for Target, with exterior envelope installation by Construction Ahead USA built for performance, durability, and long-term tenant use.
New York got the famE.
Cincinnati had the proof.
In December 1866, the first pedestrians crossed John A. Roebling's new bridge over the Ohio River at Cincinnati. More than 166,000 people walked it in the first two days. It opened as the longest suspension bridge in the world, and Roebling had already spent two years planning his next one, a span over the East River that the world now knows as the Brooklyn Bridge.
Our National Accounts Division runs open-store retail remodels the same way. We never prove a method for the first time on your building. We close out the submittals, stage the material, and set the sequence before the crew hangs the first panel.
Most businesses run 9 to 5* and lock up. We took the night shift. Daylight shows everything on the outside of a building, and we finished this one in the dark. The store opened every morning as if nothing had happened.
(*RIP Dolly)
Singleton Construction, LLC runs open-store work all over the country, and this one split clean: they framed the new face out from the existing building, and we took it from the studs out. We wrapped it and hung the plank. Then we set close to seventy-five sign anchors through the finished face, every one drilled precisely and sealed tight, so that the sign lands on solid backing.
Roebling’s bridge still carries traffic downtown.
Proven work keeps carrying the load after everyone goes home.
Proven work lasts.
Our discipline travels with our GCs. Three times in Ohio.
VaproShield behind it, Longboard across it, Sika sealing it all in.
This was an upgrade to the building. The entrance went from painted block to a woodgrain feature wall with one job: carrying the target letters and the Bullseye that everybody knows on sight.
