Fitness center construction in Dearborn, MI for VASA Fitness, with exterior envelope installation by Construction Ahead USA built for performance, durability, and high-traffic use.

This is the second time Miron and DSGW Architecture have brought us unto tribal work in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, after the Lac Vieux Desert Health Center in Watersmeet.

DSGW drew a building worth being part of Bay Mills—the only community college in the Eastern Upper Peninsula. Tribally controlled, built to grow the college's nursing, EMT, and paramedic programs. That training matters in a rural region where healthcare access is a real challenge. Students learn here, then serve the community around them.

The campus sits on the shore of Lake Superior in Brimley, where the water meets the north woods.

Proud to be back with the Miron Construction team. We earned this one in the budget rounds and through all the RFIs. We do the hard part up front, we do it right, and good partners bring us back. That callback is the reward.

Miron is the largest contractor in Wisconsin and builds across the Midwest, with deep roots in healthcare and education. We have worked alongside them for over a decade now, from Wisconsin into Michigan and Iowa. Same people on every job.

Our scope is the exterior insulation and cladding systems. Nichiha, Pac-Clad, and RMAX, assembled by skilled tradesmen who understand the plans and build to the exact detail. We stay tied to the drawings in the field, never working from memory. We build it safe. Careful work is the best work. Ownership from submittals to final installation.

General contractor on this build is Colorado Construction Solutions, and it was good to put this one up with their team.

This year the country turns two hundred and fifty. Two and a half centuries, and none of it built itself. Somebody poured it, welded it, framed it, and set the steel long before anybody cut a ribbon. If you build for a living, you know what that takes. This wall is yours as much as it is ours.
